The Next Generation Nintendo Console (NX) For 2016

A lot of you have probably already heard about Nintendo developing a gaming console. The problem is not a lot of people have no idea what this new Nintendo console ( or consoles ) consists of. Well, I'm here to clarify a few things in which I have heard from a reliable source who has daily information upon the subject at hand. Lets just utilize a small list bellow of some of the information I have learned.


1. The new console has new top of the line chips on par with Sony's Ps4 and beyond that of Microsoft's XboxOne running all games at 60 frames per second in 1080p.


2. The console will be fully compatible with the New Nintendo 3DS (only the "new" version) including using it as a controller (just an option) or cross play functionality amongst other uses in which I cannot talk about at this time.


2. There will be no disc support meaning that you will only be able to download content.


3. It will ship with 1TB of space.




 I hope this answers at least some of your questions about Nintendo's new gaming devise and I will update it as soon as I get more information.

The Failure Of XBoxOne In Modern Gaming

 Its hard to imagine such a seasoned video game console maker creating such problems for itself as Microsoft has with the xboxone. It would not be unreasonable to assume that right out of the gate Microsoft shot themselves in their own foot with the unveiling of the new system as more of an "entertainment system" rather than a video game console. Sony had pushed from the very beginning how the Playstation4 was a true gaming devise that was focused on a better video game experience overall. Again, it would not be unreasonable to also assume that this is why the Ps4 had won the show and went on to outsell xboxone by a wide margin.
  The xboxone unveiling was determined to push unwanted things upon their fans ( and potential fans )  such as T.V abilities and the dreaded "always online" requirement. First, people have plenty of stuff already to watch great television without another huge box in their livin rooms such as HD cable and the like so who really needs a gaming console for T.V over games? Secondly, Nobody wants or enjoys an always online requirement because it simply does not make any sense. Who really wants to be unable to play video games if your internet temporarily goes out or something similar happens? The answer is simple ....... Nobody, that's who.
  Now a little over a year since both next gen consoles have launched and have established a rather meaty game selection it becomes apparent that the xboxone is unable to run games at 60 frames per second without developers bumping down the graphics to 740p and even then performance is lacking compared to Sony's Playstation 4. Most games for the ps4 are 1080p HD and run at 60 frames per second no problem while xboxone struggles to keep up with last gen specks. How can a console be truly next gen when it can hardly even keep up with last gen specifications?
 The long list of Microsoft's mistakes with the xboxone is way to large to write about them all here, however, I can assume you all get the drift of what I'm saying here. Now its just going to be xboxone trying to play catch up with the Playstation's wild success as a gaming platform for gamers. Please do not take me the wrong way and think I'm hating on the xboxone because I'm not. I'm only writing my feelings on the matter and I do truly hope that Microsoft can step it up when it comes to the xboxone and turn it into a dedicated video game console instead of the " all in one" entertainment devise that we do not need in the age of tablets and smartphones.

Playstaion 4 Update 3.0 Goes Live September 30th 2015

 Very good news today indeed ....... tomorrow September 30th 2015 the new and huge Playstation 4 3.0 update goes live and has a lot to offer. Here is a list of the most important updates in order.


#1. Live streaming to youtube in 60 frames per second
#2. Video clips uploaded directly to twitter accounts ( 10 second clips )
#3. Change from 1GB online cloud storage for PS Plus members to 10GB
#4. Events ( Hub for activities )


 Most importantly ........... #5. Communities. PS4 users will be able to create communities based upon shared interests such as games, genres and more. Communities will include such things as message boards with discussion, abilities to join parties and shared screenshots.
 I don't know about you ......... but I cannot wait to download this update as it is what all gamers want and need.

The Horrible State Of Clans On PS4

 Almost two years ago I ( J30-06K ) decided to retire from running Team MvK Gaming and/or clans in general. Recently I had become bored and decided to purchase a Playstation 4 in which I had been lacking due to my complete lack of interest, however, after my purchase of the next gen platform the horror of what happened in my absence became rather apparent.
 In my enhanced anticipation I fired up my shiny new Playstation 4 and found to my complete dismay that clans on Call Of Duty have all but collapsed. In complete horror I jumped in and seen that somehow ..... Advance Warfare on PS4 ( or even ps3 for that matter ) had eliminated clans almost altogether accept for COD Elite available in game and in the form of an IOS/Mac app. This would be fine accept for the fact that this app has been designed and programed to eliminate and destroy clans and the power they used to wield. This app ( COD Elite ) has very cleverly injected itself into the inner and mostly secret network of the running of personal clans, thus, destroying them from within without the host clans even suspecting a thing. Simply put, a clan cannot be rated on how much its members play an "app" compared to how much they play together as a team towards their own personalized goals as set up by their respective leaders.
 After the complete horror of witnessing the decayed state of clans upon my return I decided to personally take action and therefore save clans altogether and lead the gaming community into the future with a highly experienced and very capable leadership who is highly experienced in doing such. Welcome to the future ...................... Welcome to Team MvK Gaming .

The Brilliant Purchase Of Oculus Rift By Facebook

 As some of you know ..... Facebook purchased the most advanced and promising version of virtual reality called "Oculus Rift" some time ago for a very large sum of money. The implications of such a move is simply brilliant to put it lightly. Some people are at odds about what Facebook intends to accomplish with technology such as Oculus Rift , however, I am not.
 Just imagine that when logged into your Facebook page you would no longer have to type or post pictures to your friends, families and/or lovers. Instead ..... you can strap on your virtual reality headset ( amongst other accessories ) and talk to your friends or whoever just like they were standing right there in your room with you. These idea's are truly revolutionary and will change forever the way we see and use social media.
 I have never been much of a fan of Facebook , however, I must give props to this new form of social interaction because it is simply amazing and brilliant. Just a small word of advice ........ maybe we should start buying stock in virtual reality because it is most certainly the way of the future not only for gaming but also social media.

Warning : Youtube Is Deleting Subscribers Again.

 Update :


 Now it seems that after each new update that Youtube rolls out they now delete so called " inactive channels". That's all fine and welcome, however, I have found that each time they delete thousands of my " inactive subscribers " I check and realize that its the inactive channels that are still subscribed to my channel such as channels that have been terminated for violations. How does this make any sense? My Youtube channel was up to 25,000 subscribers a year ago only to be " adjusted" to just over 17,000. That's a loss of over 8,000 subscribers and there is no way they can tell me that 8,000 channels had been shut down.
 The new update rolled out just the other day with a few changes that just seem, well.... pointless. It seems as though Youtube just keeps trying to adjust the service only to find themselves in an endless circle. Remember the waves of hate about the "big" Youtube update that forever changed the service? They destroyed channel customization by making each channel look identical besides a small banner only for use with google+. Don't get me wrong, I love Youtube and google plus, however, I just wish they would do a final update once an for all and stop jumping random idea's around. Oh yea, and leave my subscribers alone your deleting real active channels regardless of what you say.

I'm Glad I Have A Launch Vita.

 After seeing a new Playstation Vita Slim I must say that I'm very happy indeed that I in fact acquired a lauch Vita for no other reason than the OLED screen. Sure, there are nice new functions that come with the Vita "slim" , however, no matter how many fixes you make or lighter the Vita becomes nothing will ever make up for that most beautiful OLED screen. Simply put, its freaking wonderful. As a matter of fact, the only reason I acquired a Playstation Vita to begin with is because it was sporting the highly coveted ( and expensive ) OLED touch screen.
 People may be complaining about the lack of third party support and huge AAA title for the handheld but not me...... I'm just happy I can play Dragons Crown, a very beautiful game, on that OLED screen. As a matter of fact, while we are talking about video games on the vita why not bring up Killzone Mercenary? Now this is a video game that makes you forget your even playing on a portable. The graphics are so amazing it just simply blows you away and trust me I have seen this game run on the new Vita slim and I can say with certainty that it makes a huge difference that its displayed on a liquid crystal instead of OLED. Don't take me the wrong way, the game still looks amazing, however, I just feel like the new comers to the Vita experience are not getting the same experience in which us launch buyers had. I cannot help but wonder if this will farther hurt sales.
 Seems like I made a very smart move by buying more than one launch Vita because I can only imagine that once these old launch models are gone ( which I think they are ) off the store shelves would probably bring in much more from collectors or simply gamers who want the real Vita experience. Looks like Sony realized that they failed somewhat with the Vita sales and they so much as admitted such by openly saying they no longer plan to support 3rd party development or AAA games for the Vita any longer rather they are moving more towards indie titles and PS4 remote play.
 I'll hold on to my extra launch Vita's because I know one day they will be worth allot of money, not only that but I simply will always have one just in case my main console breaks because I love my OLED vita very much.
 I worry that if I send a broken OLED vita back for repairs what I'll receive back will be a refurbished unit and a slim one at that. So, I shall hold my Vita close to my heart while I bang out new games, ps1 classics and my personal favorites ...... PSP titles all of which look wonderful and that much better on that OLED screen.
